Each Sunday in May (except Memorial Day weekend) we will gather at Murray Park on Rebsamen Rd. near the sand volleyball courts for a public community meditation by the river.
Come to the parking lot behind the sand volleyball courts and then find us at or near Pavilion 6.
We will sound the meditation bell at 3:00 and end at 3:30.
If the weather is good, we’ll meditate in the grass between the pavilion and the river. If it’s raining, we’ll gather under the pavilion. Either way, we’ll be sure to keep social distancing standards in place as much as possible.
Bring a mat or cushion or towel or chair to sit on if you’d like. We’ll provide the water and some snacks.
The pavilion is reserved all day, so you’re free to sit and stay as long as you’d like.
There are restrooms onsite, a great new playground for kids, sand volleyball courts, free wifi, and, of course, the river trail if you’d like to get in a little exercise.
Pets are also welcome (the dog park is nearby).
